Recently, the trial of the last part from Duhai to Meerut South Station was also completed, which has done the work of connecting the entire line.

What will happen next?

After this successful trial, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will now take approval from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS). As soon as the approval is received, this 82-km journey of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut will be opened to the general public.
