There is a great news for millions of people traveling every day between Delhi and Meerut. The rapid rail that was waiting for years is now very close to becoming a reality. The country’s first Rapid Rail i.e. ‘Namo Bharat’ train has successfully completed its last trial run on the entire 82 km long corridor from Delhi to Meerut.
This simply means that now this entire line is almost ready to open to the general public. Think, the journey that takes 2 to 3 hours due to traffic jams and crowds now now only with air-decisive comfort 55 minutes Will be completed in! This is nothing short of a miracle.
This is not a minor train. ‘Namo Bharat’ train 180 km per hour The top speed is designed to run, which makes it one of the fastest trains in India.
A 34 km of this project (from Sahibabad to Modi Nagar North in Ghaziabad) is already running for the general public and people are also getting a lot of benefit from it. Recently, the trial of the last part from Duhai to Meerut South Station was also completed, which has done the work of connecting the entire line.
After this successful trial, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will now take approval from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS). As soon as the approval is received, this 82-km journey of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut will be opened to the general public.
This project will not only save the precious time of students, employed people and traders, but will also help reduce pollution in the entire NCR sector and give a new speed to development.
