Naveen Patnaik's Health Update

Bhubaneswar: Naveen Patnaik, the Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Assembly and president of the BJD, has been admitted to a private hospital, according to reports on Sunday.

The five-time Chief Minister was hospitalized in Bhubaneswar due to health concerns, as stated by sources.

Patnaik had recently returned to Bhubaneswar on July 12 after undergoing spine surgery for cervical arthritis in Mumbai. He traveled to Mumbai on June 20 and had the surgery on June 22 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Following two days in the ICU for monitoring, he was discharged on July 7.

The surgery was performed by Dr. S Rajasekaran, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon and chairman of Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals in Coimbatore.
