Malpua is a delicious sweet dish. Malpua is consumed as a dessert. Although it can be enjoyed anytime, it has been seen that it is definitely included in the menu on special occasions. Anyway, dishes made from paneer are very much liked. Paneer is the pride of most weddings and parties. Paneer is also very beneficial for health.
Ingredients
1/2 cup paneer
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp corn flour
3 drops kewda essence
Water as required
1 cup ghee
1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 tsp salt
125 grams of sugar
Method
- First of all, take a big and deep bowl. Add paneer, all-purpose flour and corn flour in it.
- Mix well and then put the ingredients in the mixer. Add cold milk and make a smooth batter.
- Now take a non-stick pan and add ghee to it for deep frying. Take the batter and pour a little batter in hot oil and fry till it turns golden.
- Gently flip and cook in the same way. Fry as many malpuas as possible. Remove excess oil with the help of absorbent paper.
- Meanwhile, boil water and sugar in a non-stick pan. Add kewda essence and mix.
- Let it cook till the mixture turns into syrup. Once done, let it cool down a bit.
- After this, put the Malpua in the syrup and let it soak for a few minutes. Then strain the Malpua and place it on a serving plate.
- Serve it immediately. You can also garnish it with dry fruits and saffron strands.
