Health Desk. Kidney is the cleaning machine of our body, which filters the blood and removes the toxic substances. But some of our everyday habits and food items are slowly harming this delicate organ without any noise. By the time the symptoms are revealed, it is too late.


1. High salt


The sodium present in salt increases blood pressure, which puts pressure on the kidney. Excess salt gradually eliminates the ability to filter the kidney. So avoid excess salt as well as processed food, salty snacks and pickles.

Taking repeated painkillers or antibiotics without doctor’s advice is like poison for the kidney. These drugs gradually damage the kidney tissue.
