Actor Sivaji and Laya reunited after a long gap for the crime comedy Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosaniwhich was earlier scheduled for a direct OTT release on ETV Win on February 12. However, the makers have now revised their strategy and decided to bring the film to theatres, citing growing demand.

Sivaji, who plays the lead role, has also produced the film. Earlier, Sivaji and ETV Win CEO Sai Krishna had jointly announced that the film would premiere directly on OTT, with the intention of offering quality original content on the platform. Despite repeated queries about a theatrical release, the team initially stood by the OTT plan. However, the makers have now decided to release the film in theatres first, with a new release date locked for March 6.
