Yellowstone spin-off The Dutton Ranch has tantalised fans with an exciting update on the highly anticipated Western series' first season.
The upcoming sequel to Taylor Sheridan's hit franchise starring Kevin Costner as ranching tycoon John Dutton will continue the story after John's cataclysmic death in the fifth season.
After the tragic loss of her father, Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly) and her husband Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) continue to fight for survival on their 7,000-acre ranch in Montana.
Fans have endured a considerable wait for updates since the series was first announced back in August 2024.
They are now one step closer to witnessing Beth and Rip's story finally continue as filming for the first season has reportedly wrapped, according to an update from Texas-based company Legacy Casting.
The series has also been given an official teaser poster, which replaces Yellowstone's iconic 'Y' brand with the initials 'D.R.' for Dutton Ranch.
The update was shared across social media, including on leading man Hauser's Instagram page where he included the caption "Here... We... Go".
Unfortunately, the poster hasn't come with an official date for the highly anticipated premiere, so fans have been left with the same question.
One Instagram user replied: "What is your definition of 'soon'?"
Someone else pleaded in the comments: "Tell us a day."
Another said: "Can't happen soon enough!!! I've been disappointed in [Marshals]. We need Rip and Beth!"
The discussion continued as Reilly and Hauser's co-star Finn Little, who will be returning as Beth and Rip's adopted son Carter, shared the poster to Facebook and said: "I'm excited that you're excited!
"Dutton Ranch is coming SOON! That's ALL I know about THAT. But I CAN tell you that we worked hard to make it for you all!"
A fan shared his post to Reddit, speculating: "Dutton Ranch Finn Little posted on his Facebook! It can't be long now."
To which another user replied: "Probably summer 2026."
While Paramount+ has yet to officially set a release date for the new series, a post from Paramount+'s Mexican Instagram page has seemingly confirmed a 17th May premiere.
However, the update has since been removed, so this date is not officially confirmed and is subject to change. Paramount+ has been contacted for comment.
The Dutton Ranch premieres in 2026 on Paramount+.
