There's good news for fans of Ken Bruce's music quiz show PopMaster TV, as it's been confirmed that it's returning for two new series, along with two celebrity specials.
Channel 4 and Bright Entertainment, an ITV Studios company, announced the news this week following the show's four successful series on More4, which first aired three years ago.
Speaking about its return, which will be filmed in Glasgow, Ken Bruce was quick to share his excitement.
He commented, "It's been a joy to see the success of PopMaster TV grow, and I am delighted to be back filming once again. I am very much looking forward to testing the brilliant knowledge of pop music fans everywhere."
The 20 new episodes will see the same format as before, as contestants from across the nation battle it out through a series of tough rounds to test their pop music knowledge.
If successful, they'll take part in the famous Original PopMaster finale and have the chance to win the coveted gold disc.
PopMaster TV is based on the iconic radio quiz, which Ken hosted for over 25 years before leaving BBC Radio Two in 2023.
The quiz show, which has been highly praised by viewers, will continue to bring music fans together with nostalgia, competition and classic hits.
Michael Mannes, Executive Producer added: "I am thrilled to continue the PopMaster TV journey we started a few years back with Ken Bruce and More4. It has proved hugely popular with the audience and we're looking forward to getting back in the studio".
In the past, Ken opened up about bringing his radio show with him as he confessed the BBC didn't want the copyright to the name.

"Speaking about their rejection, he told i Newspaper: "I asked somebody within the BBC if they wished to come in and protect [the PopMaster name].
"They said, 'Nah, you're alright, I don't think we want to get involved in doing that'. So I went to the trademark office and trademarked it. I've still got the patent.
"I kept renewing it, and I'm delighted that we're able to keep using it in this way. There wasn't any massive legal battle."
PopMaster TV is available to watch on More4.
