Bhopal. CM Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India is moving rapidly towards development and progress. He said that the target has been set to make India a developed nation by the year 2047. The Prime Minister is continuously taking decisions in the interest of women and providing them rights and empowerment.
The Chief Minister said that Dr. Taking forward the ideas of BR Ambedkar, Prime Minister Modi has pledged to give 33 percent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and Assemblies. He called it a historic and big decision of the 21st century. Implementation of this law will lead to rapid empowerment of women.
This address was given during the Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan organized at Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium located in Sampadan Nagar, Indore. The Chief Minister described Indore as the birthplace of Goddess Ahilyabai Holkar and the birthplace of Lata Mangeshkar. He said that this auditorium has been built in the memory of Lata Mangeshkar.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi respected the decision of the Supreme Court and liberated Muslim women from triple talaq, which brought a big change in their lives. He also said that the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is a symbol of the faith and pride of the country.

The Chief Minister said that some opposition parties insult Vande Mataram, which is unfortunate. He alleged that attempts were also made to divide the society on issues like Ram Temple and triple talaq. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, important decisions of the Supreme Court were implemented and Muslim women got justice.
MLA Malini Gaur said that in Indian culture, women have always been considered a symbol of power, knowledge and prosperity. He thanked the government for giving 50 percent reservation to women in Panchayat Raj institutions and said that the new law will give more participation to daughters in decision making.
In the program, women of Indore registered their presence on the stage by joining various fields – art, culture, literature and enterprise. The special thing was that ministers, MPs and MLAs sat in the audience gallery, while women were given prominent place on the stage. An exhibition of products made by women self-help groups was also organized at the venue, which the Chief Minister visited. The program began with collective singing of the national anthem Vande Mataram and a large number of women participated in it.
