The grand film ‘Ramayana’, which has become a pride for Indian cinema, is currently being discussed all over the world. The film is being looked at as the biggest cinematic event of 2026. Directed by director Nitesh Tiwari, the epic film is being produced under the banner of producer Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios. It involves eight-time Oscar-winning international visual-effects agency DNEG and superstar Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.


The glimpse of this film has been released recently and the audience is literally stunned to see the glimpse of Lord Ram’s role. ‘Ramayana’ is going to be a unique experience due to sophisticated visual effects, stunning sound, powerful cast and immense grandeur.


CinemaCon is the world’s largest film trade event, bringing together the world’s largest studios, film exhibitors and distributors. Its organizing body, Cinema United, was formerly known as the National Association of Theater Owners (NATO). The organization’s former executives, John Fithian, Patrick Corcoran and Jackie Brenneman, started their own company—The Fithian Group—a few years ago, which provides consulting services to film exhibitors worldwide. This company had presented ‘Ramayana’ at CinemaCon 2026.


‘Ramayana’ has made its global mark at CinemaCon 2026. ‘Ramayana’ has also made its place in this prestigious program along with the big films of the world. Producer Namit Malhotra and superstar Yash attended the event and presented the power of Indian storytelling to the world. The producers shared some moments from Cinema-Con 2026 on social media.

Now, John Fithian has revealed the response he got when he performed Ramayana. In a post on LinkedIn, John said his company held meetings with various film exhibitors from the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and Australia at the Ramayana Ballroom. About his experience at CinemaCon, John said, “Namit also showed them some never-before-seen clips from Ramayana. It had techniques and special effects that had never been used before. We learned from experienced Western cinema operators how to improve the marketing, distribution and presentation of Ramayana in their region.”


The two-part blockbuster will hit the big screens worldwide. The first part will release in Diwali 2026, while the second part will release in Diwali 2027.
