Thirthahalli: Two leopard cubs have been spotted in the Melinakuruvally Gram Panchayat limits of Thirthahalli taluk. The cubs were seen near Heggabailu in Vittal Nagar area under the same gram panchayat.

The leopard cubs were found on the road connecting Kuruvalli to Haralimath. Villagers and people travelling on the road were shocked to see them.

The cubs appeared early in the morning, creating fear among residents. People are worried whether only the cubs are present or if an adult leopard is also nearby.

The forest department officials have been informed about the incident. Officials have advised the public not to scare the cubs and warned people not to harm them.
