The post-mortem report in the death of Prateek Yadav has revealed that a blood clot formed in the lower part of his body and travelled upwards, leading to complications in the arteries and lungs. The report further stated that the infection eventually triggered a cardiac arrest, causing his death.

Officials said more details are expected to emerge after the viscera report is received.
