Lucknow, Read: An increase of about four rupees per kg has been recorded in all pulses including arhar, urad, chickpea. Whereas the price of rice has been recorded at Rs 2 per kg. Traders believe that this difference is not mainly due to increase in fares. Due to non-import of pulses coming from Rangoon, Myanmar and other places, an increase of four rupees per kg has been recorded.
There is a difference of two rupees per kg in the price of rice because the rice has been sent to places like Bangladesh etc. Due to this the mills do not have paddy. This is the main reason. Traders believe that if this is linked to the increase in freight, then an increase of one rupee per kg in pulses and fifty paise per kg in rice can be considered. Fare has no effect on speed.
According to Lucknow Vyapar Mandal Chairman and Pandeyganj Galla Mandi President Rajendra Aggarwal and Lucknow Millers Association President Bharat Bhushan Gupta, the fare for Arhar dal coming from Nagpur to Lucknow was earlier Rs 255, now the new booking is likely to be Rs 280. She hasn’t come yet. That means Rs 25 per quintal. If it is divided into per kg then the difference will be only 25 paise per kg.
Similarly, the fare of food grains coming from Katni in Madhya Pradesh has been increased from Rs 145 to Rs 170. If this is also considered as the basis then there will be a difference of only 25 paise per kg. In such a situation, there are discussions in the market regarding increase in fares. He is not well. The reason for the difference is the shortage of pulses and paddy in the market. For this reason there has been an increase of two to four rupees. Which can be called routine.
