Sydney University of Australia has started a special scholarship program for Indian students. Under this, students will be given relief in tuition fees and financial assistance up to Rs 27.5 lakh. Last date of application is 24 May 2026.

Sydney: Under Study in Australia Scholarship, Sydney University of Australia is providing financial assistance to Indian students for higher education. Students taking admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses through this scholarship program will get rebate in tuition fees and benefits up to lakhs of rupees. To apply, students are required to have an offer letter from the university.

Sydney University’s big scholarship scheme for Indian students

Australia’s prestigious Sydney University is running ‘Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program’ with the aim of providing financial assistance to Indian students for studies. Under this scholarship program, students will be given assistance up to lakhs of rupees along with tuition fee waiver. The aim of the university is to provide better global education and research opportunities to Indian students.

28 students will get the benefit of scholarship

A total of 28 scholarships will be given by Sydney University. Of these, the entire tuition fees of two students for four years will be waived. Apart from this, 10 students will get assistance of 20,000 Australian dollars i.e. about Rs 13.70 lakh.

The remaining 16 students will be given a scholarship of 10,000 Australian dollars i.e. approximately Rs 6.80 lakh. This financial assistance is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Required eligibility for scholarship

Students applying for this scholarship must be Indian citizens. Also they should have a valid passport of India.

Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the candidates to have an offer letter for any undergraduate or postgraduate course of Sydney University. Applications without admission offer letter will not be accepted.
