Gorakhpur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a wonderful eco system of sports has developed in the last 11-12 years in the country and Uttar Pradesh, the state with the largest population in the country.

While addressing the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the 46th Junior National Rowing Championship organized by the Rowing Federation of India in Ramgarhtal, Gorakhpur on Thursday, CM Yogi said that under the leadership of PM Modi, sports infrastructure in the country and the state has developed rapidly and the government is ready at every step for the training and encouragement of the players.

The Chief Minister said that Ramgarh Lake (Ramgarhtal) is also the result of the excellent eco system developed in the field of sports. Ramgarhtal, which was a bastion of filth and crime before 2017, has today become possible to organize the national women’s team training camp for the preparation of the Asiad along with the national rowing competitions.

On the closing occasion of this competition in which rowing players from 20 states participated, he said that in the situation before 2017, where no one liked to come to Ramgarhtal, the national rowing competitions are helping in shaping the future of the youth. This is the correct use of rhythm from where the youth are presenting their potential before the country and the world.

Yogi inspired the youth and said that if they are using their energy and power positively in the right direction, the future of that country is bright. He said that the player always works with positive thinking and team spirit. He connects the society with positive energy by staying away from addiction and negativity and with self-discipline.

Yogi said that when he was watching the match here, seeing the strong winds in front of the players in the pool, the lines of the great litterateur Sohanlal Dwivedi came to his mind. He had said, ‘A boat does not cross due to fear of waves, those who try never lose.’

The Chief Minister said that it is a fact of life that the one who gets scared dies. Society, country and even God never forgive the one who runs away. Therefore, there is only one mantra of life and that is ‘Charaiveti-Charaiveti’. That means keep going, keep going. Keep preparing yourself to face even and odd situations. Indian Manisha has also always given the same inspiration.
