Sunita Ahuja Leaves Reality Show Due to Health Issues

Sunita Ahuja, the spouse of actor Govinda, has decided to step away from Netflix's reality series Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, citing health concerns. Her husband Govinda and their daughter Tina Ahuja were present on set to support her as hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh bid her farewell.

In her explanation for leaving, Ahuja shared, “I am not feeling well, and my diabetes is not managed properly. Additionally, I am experiencing anxiety due to menopause. I have been feeling chest pain and difficulty in breathing, which is why I requested to exit the show.”

She clarified that she has no plans to return as a wild card contestant, following medical advice. Ahuja commended the production team for their care, mentioning that doctors monitored her sugar levels three times daily and adjusted her meals accordingly once they were aware of her diabetes.

Reflecting on her experience, Ahuja described her time on the show as “one of the best experiences of my life,” highlighting the close relationships she formed with younger contestants.

Govinda addressed their marriage in light of previous comments Ahuja made regarding infidelity during the show, stating that they have overcome challenging times together. “I stand by her, and with God's grace, I always will,” he affirmed.

Ahuja also announced her upcoming film debut alongside her son Yashvardan Ahuja in a project produced by Ekta Kapoor, set to release in September. She expressed excitement, saying, “This will mark the first time in the industry that a mother and son are debuting together.”
