Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 30: The Gwalior Cheetahs have unveiled a pioneering High Performance Camp, a five-day cricket training program in collaboration with The Scindia School, Gwalior, running from July 28 to August 1.

This initiative underscores JKC Sports' dedication to enhancing grassroots cricket by fostering long-term player development, as stated in a press release from the franchise.

The camp has attracted 100 talented young cricketers aged between Under-12 and Under-19, focusing on game development and essential elements of contemporary cricket.

Participants will benefit from specialized coaching aimed at honing the skills and mindset necessary for professional play.

Under the guidance of Gwalior Cheetahs Head Coach Aditya Shrivastava, the camp will expose young athletes to advanced coaching techniques and modern training methodologies.

Having led Madhya Pradesh to a historic Ranji Trophy victory after a 69-year gap, Shrivastava is equally devoted to nurturing the next wave of cricketers in the state.

This High Performance Camp marks the first of several grassroots initiatives planned by JKC Sports throughout Madhya Pradesh, with the goal of establishing a sustainable player development pathway that enhances cricket in the state beyond the Madhya Pradesh League season.

Led by prominent batter Rajat Patidar, the Gwalior Cheetahs had a competitive run in the 2026 Madhya Pradesh League, narrowly missing the playoffs. The franchise remains committed to investing in grassroots player development through long-term strategies aimed at discovering, nurturing, and preparing the next generation of cricketers from across Madhya Pradesh.
