Lucknow: In the second match of UP T-20 League Season-4 played on Saturday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Noida Kings defeated Kanpur Superstars by three wickets in a very thrilling manner. While chasing the target of 135 runs, Noida team was in trouble at one time after losing seven wickets for 57 runs. After this, Bobby Yadav and Karthik Sidhu took charge and made an unbeaten partnership of 78 runs to give the team victory.

Bobby and Karthik changed the picture of the match

Bobby Yadav, who came to bat as an impact player, played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 44 runs under pressure. Facing 28 balls, he hit three fours and one six. Whereas Karthik Sidhu scored unbeaten 34 runs on 21 balls, which included three fours and two sixes.

Both the batsmen first moved the innings forward cautiously and then batted aggressively in the last overs and completely turned the match towards Noida Kings.

The whole equation changed in the last three overs

Noida Kings needed 37 runs to win in the last 18 balls. Bobby and Karthik scored 17 runs against Ajay Kumar in the 18th over. Due to this, Noida needed 20 runs in 12 balls.

Kanpur's Vineet Panwar bowled brilliantly and gave only six runs in the 19th over. After this, Noida Kings had a target of 14 runs in the last six balls.

Bobby Yadav put the pressure back on Kanpur by hitting consecutive fours on the first two balls of Shakti Verma's last over. Four runs were needed from three balls. After this, Bobby gave a memorable victory to Noida Kings by hitting a four over the extra cover.

Kanpur had scored 134 runs

Earlier, Noida Kings captain Madhav Kaushik won the toss and decided to bowl first. Noida bowlers kept pressure on Kanpur Superstars from the beginning. Kanpur team had lost seven wickets for 74 runs within 13 overs.

Noida's left arm spinner Shiva Singh bowled brilliantly and took three wickets for 18 runs in four overs. Fast bowler Kunal Tyagi also supported him well and took three wickets for 28 runs.

Yashovardhan and Shubham took over the innings

After Kanpur's early wickets fell, Yashovardhan Singh and Shubham Mishra took over the innings. There was an important partnership of 59 runs on 43 balls between the two. Yashovardhan scored 28 runs in 21 balls, while Shubham Mishra scored 29 runs in 24 balls.

On the basis of this partnership, Kanpur Superstars scored 134 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs and set a target of 135 runs for Noida.

Noida also had a bad start

The start of Noida Kings chasing the target was also not as expected. Kanpur bowlers kept Noida's batting under pressure by taking wickets at regular intervals. In the 12th over, Noida's score was only 57 runs for seven wickets.

Kanpur all-rounder Shubham Mishra also made an impact with the ball. He took two wickets giving only 10 runs in four overs. Experienced spinner Karn Sharma took two wickets for 39 runs and fast bowler Ajay Kumar took two wickets for 31 runs.

But after this, the partnership of Bobby Yadav and Karthik Sidhu changed the entire match and Noida Kings won the match by three wickets.
