Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush is set to join Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City.

According to reports, the 27-year-old will initially join on loan with a buy clause, which will be mandatory under specific conditions. He is set to be part of a double deal which also includes Brazilian winger Savinho.

Marmoush joined City in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt but has stuggled to find a permanent place in the starting lineup.

He made 62 appearances across all competitions for City, recording 16 goals and three assists in that period and won the FA Cup and League Cup last season.

Marmoush’s departure comes during a time City is undergoing a restructure under new manager Enzo Maresca, who replaced Pep Guardiola. The club has already parted ways with Rodri, Bernardo Silva and John Stones, with Savinho and Marmoush set to join that list.
