The West Bengal Higher Secondary Education Council ( WBCHSE ) has released the timetable for the Class 12 Semester 3 board examinations 2027. The exams will begin on September 21 and continue till October 14.




Most examinations will be held from 11 am to 12:30 pm at designated examination centres. The council has also issued detailed instructions on invigilation, electronic gadgets, question papers and evaluation.

Special timings: The examination for Music and Visual Arts will be held from 11 am to 12 noon. Vocational subject examinations on October 13 will be held in the second half from 2 pm to 3 pm.




Strict checking at WB Class 12 exam centres


The council has said that there will be strict invigilation during the Semester 3 examinations. Students will not be allowed to carry anything other than a pen and pencil inside the examination hall.




Mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets will be strictly prohibited at examination centres.




If a student is found carrying an electronic gadget during the examination, the examination and enrolment of the candidate will be cancelled, according to the notice.




CCTV cameras will also be used at the main gates and inside examination rooms.




There will be at least two invigilators in each examination room. The council has set an invigilator-to-student ratio of 1:20.




The council has distributed important examination documents through 56 camps across West Bengal. Admit cards have also been provided to students through its online portal.




A help desk and control room have been opened for candidates and examination staff during the examination period. The council has also asked students and parents not to pay attention to rumours and to remain calm during the examinations.
