A tragic accident has occurred in Ludhiana, Punjab. Fourteen-year-old handball player Anshika has died in a road accident in Haibowal area of Ludhiana. CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced, capturing the entire incident. Anshika was a state level handball player and was going to Bathinda to play a state level match. However, he died in an accident a day before the match. The tragic accident took place in Haibowal area on Monday evening. Anshika was going for school practice on Activa with a well-known temple priest. There were three people in the Activa, and Anshika was sitting on the back seat.
According to the CCTV footage, at the same moment, another Activa came from the front, while a trolley loaded with bricks was passing by. The driver braked suddenly to avoid the oncoming Activa. As a result, the Activa skidded and the trio fell on the road.
During the accident, Anshika, who was sitting on the back seat, collided with the trolley. The rear wheel of a trolley loaded with about 20 tons of bricks passed over his head. Critically injured Anshika was rushed to DMC Hospital, but doctors could not save her. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV.
