AAP Goa Elections: Arvind Kejriwal has given 6 big guarantees to Goa, which is ready for change under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party, including providing 300 units of free electricity per month. Announcing his guarantees at a meeting held in Panaji, he said that the AAP government will also waive off the outstanding electricity bills.

All women will be given Rs 3,000 per month and will be given free travel in buses. Health insurance of Rs 10 lakh will be provided to every family and play grounds will be built in every village. Besides, we will solve every small and big problem by making a local manifesto at the booth level. He said that this is Kejriwal’s guarantee, which never breaks. We have fulfilled all our guarantees in Delhi and Punjab and will fulfill all our guarantees in Goa.

Voting for BJP means corruption

Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who came to Goa on a three-day tour, while addressing the gathering in Panaji, said that today Goa is demanding change. The people of Goa are fed up with the politics of both BJP and Congress. People vote for Congress because they do not like BJP, but after voting for Congress, Congress MLAs go and join BJP and form the government of the same people against whom people had voted. Therefore, voting for Congress means forming the BJP government. There is no benefit from this. On the other hand, voting for BJP means corruption, broken roads, water shortage and long power cuts.

Kejriwal has a guarantee that never fades.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the bills of people living in small houses in Goa are ranging from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 1 lakh or more. Therefore, the people of Goa are looking towards Aam Aadmi Party with great hope to get freedom from BJP and Congress. Therefore, I am leaving by giving six guarantees to the people of Goa. Apart from these guarantees, we will do many more things, but we will definitely do these six things. This is Kejriwal’s guarantee which never fades away, but is applicable on the ground. All the guarantees I gave in the elections of Delhi and Punjab were fulfilled, which shows the credibility of my guarantees.

1- 300 units free electricity

Arvind Kejriwal said that the electricity bills of the people in Goa are very high. When people go to get it repaired, the officials say to fill it first and then they will fix it. People can’t pay it and it keeps getting charged penalties and interest. Finally one day they cut off the electricity and go away. Also, electricity has become very expensive and long power cuts are taking place. He announced that if Aam Aadmi Party forms the government, all electricity dues will be waived off. Every 300 units of electricity per month will be given free and 24 hours electricity will be arranged.

Arvind Kejriwal said that our government has fulfilled the guarantee of free electricity in Delhi and Punjab. Anyone can find out. If government is formed in Goa, we will provide free electricity here also. BJP and Congress do not provide free electricity. You will not get free electricity by voting for them. If you want free electricity, then as soon as our government is formed by voting for Aam Aadmi Party, within a week all the old bills of the people will be reduced to zero and from April onwards they will get 300 units of free electricity every month.

2- Free bus travel for women

Arvind Kejriwal further said that the second guarantee is free bus travel for women. People from middle class and poor families travel in buses. In Delhi and Punjab we made bus fare free for women. Now women do not have to pay for tickets in any bus in Punjab. If the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in Goa, then bus travel for women will be made completely free here too.

3- Health insurance of Rs 10 lakh to every family

Giving the third guarantee, Arvind Kejriwal said that if a person is seriously ill and goes to GMC (Goa Medical College), the condition of treatment there is very bad. Doctors do not listen to patients, machines do not work and dates for operations are available after several months. If people go to a private hospital, they end up with a bill running into lakhs of rupees. Apart from this, we have given health insurance of Rs 10 lakh to every family in Punjab. If anyone in the family falls ill, he can go to any big private hospital with an insurance card, where the entire treatment up to Rs 10 lakh per year is free.

Arvind Kejriwal further said that BJP’s Pramod Sawant government in Goa runs Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY), but it is just a fake card for which Rs 300 is charged. During the booth meeting, a woman told me that the operation of someone in her family was done in a private hospital, which cost Rs 2.5 lakh, but the government gave only Rs 25,000 under DDSSY. If the patient has to pay Rs 2.25 lakh out of Rs 2.5 lakh, then what is the use of such a scheme? In contrast, in Punjab the entire expense, including medicines, tests and hospitalization, is borne by the government. The same health insurance policy will be implemented in Goa also if the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed.

4- 3 thousand rupees per month to every woman

Giving the fourth guarantee, Arvind Kejriwal said that the Goa government’s Greh Aadhaar scheme is so complex that countless conditions have been imposed in it. If there is a house or a car then the benefit will not be available and only one woman in the family will get the benefit, due to which very few women are able to get it. We have implemented the same scheme in Punjab. There in a family, mother, wife, sister or daughter, all four get the benefit. This scheme is available to everyone, rich, poor, Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Brahmin and SC. Every woman above 18 years of age gets its benefit. Even if Aam Aadmi Party forms the government in Goa, Rs 3,000 will be deposited every month in the bank account of every woman above 18 years of age.

5- Sports grounds in every village and every ward

Giving the fifth guarantee, Arvind Kejriwal said that the children of Goa have a lot of interest in sports and they represent them at the national and international level, but there are no playing fields in the state and the condition of the fields that are there is very bad. In Punjab, our government has built excellent playgrounds in every village, where there are facilities for games like football, cricket, volleyball and all the sports equipment is provided by the government. On the same lines, a playground will be built in every village and every ward of Goa so that the youth can play and bring glory to Goa in the country and the world.

6- Solving problems through local manifest

Arvind Kejriwal further said that Aam Aadmi Party workers will go to every street and locality and sit with the public and prepare a ward and booth level local manifesto based on local problems. The smallest problems of the area will be written down and solved after becoming MLA. Voting for Congress means that it will form the BJP government and voting for BJP means that there will be no work for the public and only corruption. At the same time, voting for Aam Aadmi Party will provide many benefits like free electricity, health insurance of Rs 10 lakh and free bus travel for women.
