New Delhi: Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has released the first look poster of “Manya”, featuring Shreyas Talpade, as he completed 50 years in the film industry.

The poster was shared by Ghai’s production banner, Mukta Arts, on Instagram on Saturday and featured the actor as a lawyer.

The film is directed by Sameer Joshi and presented by Mukta Arts Ltd in association with Slow Burn Entertainment. It is produced by Puneet Aggarwal and Rahul Puri.

It is described as a “heartfelt story about a boy in conflict with the law”. “Presenting the first look of ‘Manya’. ‘Manya’ is a heartfelt story about a boy in conflict with the law. This is the part of his story nobody stopped to ask about,” read the caption.

“A film directed by Sameer Joshi, presented by Mukta Arts Ltd in association with Slow Burn Entertainment, produced by, Puneet Aggarwal and Rahul Puri. It also marks Mukta Arts’ 48th anniversary and Subhash Ghai’s 50th year in cinema,” it added.

Ghai directed his first film “Kalicharan” in 1976, which revolved around DSP Prabhakar , who uncovers that the respected and wealthy Seth Din Dayal—a secret crime lord known as “Lion” —is behind massive illegal operations.

It featured Shatrughan Sinha, among others.
